Life: A human right

That life is a fundamental human right should be as a matter of course. However, in different phases of life this is not the case, even in democratic constitutional countries. What about the right to live for unborn humans or for long-term coma patients?

In Europe in the range of 1 million unborn humans are killed every year. Would they be killed in other phases of life, one would term it a world war. Are we willing to ignore that furthermore?
